I just saw some footage of the 2014 NY Auto show, and dang does the KM7 Jetta SportWagon/Golf Variant look good.

I think the main reason they called it a Jetta, was most Americans think the Jetta is bigger than the Golf.(I have dealt with this issue first hand.) Maybe by now people hav e realized they are the same. The weirdest part is the Sportwgen mk4, and mk6 had a Golf Front end not a Jetta's.

yeah, I have a mark 6, the mark 5 had a golf front too.

The MK5 Golf and Jetta fronts were almost the same. But I think most Sportwagens had the chrome center section like a Jetta.
